As much as I am a lover girl, the other side of me is sarcastic and funny, and just wants to have fun. I live to laugh. For real, I don't know how to explain it, but I do. I like to think I am the funny side character in any show you can think of. Examples include Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect, Stiles Stilinski from Teen Wolf, Alan from The Hangover, and Janis from Mean Girls. Anyways, getting off-topic, the point is I'm here for the fun, the messy, the good times. I want to capture you in love but also on the other side, having fun!
GET TO KNOW ME
To start from the beginning, I truly struggled as a kid. So, one day, I stole my dad's camera on a camping trip in 7th grade and went around our campground, just taking pictures of whatever caught my eye. It was the first time I felt naturally good at something and confident right from the start. After that, I was always taking pictures of nature, my family, with my friends for Instagram or Tumblr, or just for a fun photoshoot. In my senior year of high school, I took my friends' senior photos on my iPhone (didn't have a camera yet, lol).
Once I finally got a camera, for a while, all I did was fun photoshoots of my friends, weddings, and birthday gigs on the side for like 50-100 dollars, lol. But I never thought I could do it for a living. Give or take a few years of just wasting time at a retail job, not sure what I was going to do with my life. I woke up one day in 2020 and decided to try and take it seriously, then the world shut down. Sooo, bad timing. Check back in 2021, freshly fired from a retail job, and I thought, 'Well, it's this or nothing.' And I haven't looked back since. I truly love this job more than any other. I walk into every wedding and session in awe that this is my job, and I get to capture people's most important life moments. This job brings me so much joy, from meeting you and creating friendships to showing you the final photos and bringing you joy with what I do.
It all started when my mom met my dad... Nah, just kidding, lol.
I love books; I love reading. I love being transported to somewhere else and falling in love with the characters. When I read, I can literally picture what it looks like, what the character looks like, the house they're in, the colors, and the sounds. But my favorite part about reading is picking the perfect songs for the books I'm reading, like scoring a movie. I swear if I weren't a photographer, I would be scoring movies. I do the same thing for photos too. I look at the picture, and I can see a song that would be playing in the moment

love camping, and I love road-tripping with my cousins up the coast or to Mammoth and Yosemite. I've been camping since I was a kid. I love the nostalgia it brings me and how it reconnects me to the magnitude and beauty of God's creation and this life. I love the way it silences all my racing thoughts and forces me to take things slower.

Gift-giving is my love language. So, obviously, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Not only is it the most magical time of the year when I feel the most joy, but it's also the time of year when I get to buy presents for everyone I love. The only issue is I'm an impatient gift giver, and waiting to give someone what I've bought them is my own personal hell. So, I usually buy everyone's gifts like the week of, lol. Plus Christmas lights and decorations and the music? It's the best holiday. You can argue with a wall if you disagree.
